Im ersten Frühling war es der Regen - wesentlich mehr als normal. Das Jahr danach war es der Wind - so viel Wind wie schon seit 20 Jahren nicht mehr. Im letzten Jahr waren es dann der Regen und der Wind...
Für diesen Frühling sagt Environment Canada in British Columbia mehr Niederschlag als üblich voraus. Die Frage stellt sich: gibt es überhaupt eine "normale" Jahreszeit, die der Statistik entspricht? Natürlich nicht. Der perfekten Jahreszeit wird stets hinterher gejagt und es wird sogar in den Nachrichten darüber berichtet, als ob es eine Tragödie wäre.
Jammern auf hohem Niveau... dass in den Nachrichten das Wetter Anlass zur Sorge ist, zeigt doch zumindest dass wir hier eigentlich gar keine Probleme haben.
Im Gegenteil, mehr Niederschlag bedeutet weniger Waldbrände im Sommer - und das wären wirklich mal gute Nachrichten!

Environment Canada is calling for below average temperatures and above average precipitation this year. The question is: does the average season even exist? Of course not! We always chase behind the perfect season and the lack of it even makes the news, as if something tragic was happening.
First world problems... but I guess the fact that below average temperatures make the news just goes to show you that we really don't have any problems.
On the contrary, higher precipitation means a lower risk of forest fires later in the year - and that's what I call good news!
